Texas Ale Project in Dallas, TX is a brewery looking for a Head Brewer to run brewery operations. Located in the heart of the Dallas Design District, Texas Ale Project is a family owned manufacturing craft brewery that opened in 2014. Currently Texas Ale Project is successfully being sold in 18 counties in North Texas and is working to expand to new territories. Opportunity for advancement with the company is high; we strive to promote from within.
The ideal candidate will have all the typical requirements such as:
Able to brew consistent, high quality beers
Able to physically conduct all activities in production (forklift, lift 55+ lbs.)
Thorough knowledge of step-mashing and other brewing processes
Formal brewing education and/or equivalent professional brewing experience (highly preferred)
3+ years of brewing experience with yeast propagation, cellar and packaging experience
Must have experience with a 30 bbl system or larger
Mechanically inclined, problem solver
Strong attention to detail and sanitation
Extensive experience with recipe formulation and experimentation
COLLABORATIVE
Strong communication skills
Positive attitude
Willing to clean and roll up your sleeves around the “house”
