    Carson’s Brewery is seeking a Packaging Specialist/Cellarman. We are seeking a driven, motivated, reliable, and personable coworker to join our team in a fast paced and exciting work environment.
    Founded in 2012, Carson’s Brewery is an award winning, growing microbrewery located in Southwestern Indiana.

    FLSA: Full Time, Non-Exempt
    Hours: Generally 40 to 45 hours a week Monday through Friday generally 8am-5pm
    Reports To: Head Brewer

    DEPARTMENT:
    Brewing

    Bottling Specialist/Cellarman

    DESCRIPTION:
    The Packaging Specialist/Cellarman is responsible for running the bottling, and canning lines & all aspects of cellar work.

    JOB DUTIES:
    - Bottling beer on our semi-automated PPM bottling line.
    - Canning beer on our automatic depal, Wild Goose canning line.
    - Daily maintenance and preventative maintenance on the bottling & canning line.
    - Keg cleaning, filling.
    - Pulling/palletizing orders for distributors.
    - Forklift operation.
    - Perform all cellar operations.
    - Startup and shutdown of facility processes.
    - Monitoring of quality parameters and working to resolve issues promptly.
    - Accurate daily record keeping and sampling of process and product.
    - Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment in department and facility.
    - Centrifuge and Filtration operation.
    - Make adjustments to equipment to compensate for variations in materials.
    - Participate in taste panel work as directed.
    - Take direction from Head Brewer/Assistant Brewer.
    - Contribute to positive work environment through open and constructive dialog.
    - Contribute and be receptive to continual innovation and improvements.
    - Communicate issues and concerns as they arise with staff and management.
    - Attend company meetings as scheduling allows.
    - Give tours of brewery.
    - Attend promotional events.

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS RECOMMENDED:
    - 2 years of experience in a production brewery environment.
    - Formal brewing education.
    - Desire to learn and master packaging machinery.
    - Mechanical ability and intuition.
    - General knowledge of fluid dynamics and pressure.
    - A full understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
    - Must be able to work varying hours depending upon production schedule.
    - A positive attitude in a demanding repetitive production environment.
    - Strong orientation towards quality control and safety.
    - Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities while focusing on detail.
    - Good time management skills.
    - Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    - Vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    - Ability to stand for periods of time up to 11 hours.
    - Heavy physical work (bending, kneeling, climbing into tanks, pulling hoses, etc.)
    - Ability to lift and/or move up to 160 pounds.
    - Will work continuously on wet floors and with wet equipment, and work in extreme cold.
    - Loud to moderate continuous noise in work area.
    - Frequently exposed to strong and sometimes disagreeable odors and occasionally exposed to hazardous chemicals.
    - Ability to work near moving mechanical parts.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
