Octopi Brewing is looking for a brewery and production assistant - Located in Waunakee, WI
Octopi Brewing is a state of the art contract brewing facility located outside of Madison, WI. We are on pace to produce 12,000 bbls on our first year. We have top of the line brand new fully automatic German equipment. We are looking for a passionate individual that can help with day to day operations.
Professional Skills
You will be asked to help in all brewery functions from laboratory work to packaging. You will be responsible for coming to work on time and helping the brewing team in every aspect of the production area. You will coordinate your day to day work with the brewery supervisor. You will be accountable for your work and must follow safety brewery guidelines.
Team
We are looking for a young, energetic candidate with a positive attitude to help the brewing and production team. You should model teamwork, collaboration, communication, honesty and community. You must believe that your team’s successes are your own achievements.
We will train and guide in every process and help you become a well-rounded brewery professional. You will be accountable for every aspect your work. You will be responsible to ensure all your tasks are conducive to a safe working environment.
You will be part of Octopi’s team, both internally and externally, so you must always represent the company in a positive manner. You will be expected to do: brewery tours, participate in events and festivals, among many other activities.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
1. HS education/diploma
2. Prior internship experience recommended
3. Proficient in MS Office products
4. Flexible schedule
5. Brewery experience is a plus
6. Must be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs, as needed
