  • Rockyard Brewing Co. is seeking Brand Representatives

    Rockyard Brewing Company is located in Castle Rock, CO and distributes throughout the state of Colorado

    The Brand Representative is responsible for the promotion & sales of beer in an assigned territory. This individual is expected to grow sales volume, open new accounts, and maintain existing accounts according to set goals while developing new relationships throughout the distribution network.

    Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Sales:
    • Support the Wholesaler Sales team by forming a solid relationship with the representatives in your territory
    • Account response: Respond to your accounts to handle any issues that may
    arise. Including but not limited to: draft line issues, quality assurance, will call deliveries, etc.
    • New accounts and Chain procurement. Support new age by approaching,
    opening and supporting new accounts, both on and off premise. Seek out and determine regional managers of chain accounts, set meetings, open multiple locations within your territory and beyond
    • Track all sales within your territory. If sales are not meeting expectations,
    devise and recommend corrective plan of action

    Marketing:

    • Promotions: Schedule and execute hand sales, tastings, pint nights, tap takeovers, etc. within your territory. 3 events per week
    • Festivals: Plan, staff and execute all festivals Rockyard Brewing Co. is participating in within your territory. Track results from these festivals.
    • New accounts, increased sell thru and/or new SKU’s within current accounts.
    • Placement: Work with your New Age representative to ensure Rockyard is
    being placed in the best possible spot in the coolers or on tap walls.
    • POS: work with Rockyard Brewing Co.’s Marketing Manager and your New Age Representatives to ensure our accounts have the proper POS in the proper locations

    Performance Expectations:

    • Become a Certified Cicerone within period to be determined. Rockyard will reimburse this expense at 180 days after certification.
    • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Demonstrate persuasive selling and relationship development skills.
    • Demonstrate skill with basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Meet or exceed established growth goals
    • Maintain professional appearance and grooming.
    • Lift 25 lbs.
    • Move 150 lb. kegs
