Packaging Manager - Tennessee Brew Works, Nashville
Tennessee Brew Works is seeking a Packaging Manager. The requisition is for a full-time, salaried position, responsible for planning, managing, communication and execution of packaging operations; utilizing timely & cost effective methods. The candidate must also hold competences in corrective and preventative maintenance with a moderate to strong comprehension of mechanical fundamentals. Previous management experience beneficial too.
Responsibilities include:
♣ Maintain integrity of production, kegging and bottling equipment.
♣ Develop processes for efficient plant operations; including inventory management, organization of packaging materials, cleanliness of brewery space, maintaining equipment in ideal operating conditions, scheduling kegging and bottling runs with packaging team,
♣ Arrange, assemble and execute wholesaler pickups.
♣ Manage kegging and bottling runs, which includes scheduling and coordinating packaging personnel.
♣ Record keeping of inventory, operations and SOPs.
♣ Training of packaging team on machinery operation, maintenance and safety.
♣ Participation in brewery activities and events.
Qualifications, Experience & Expectations:
♣ Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; 2-years of experience in brewery operations is desirable.
♣ Moderate to strong mechanical comprehension.
♣ Knowledge of quality assurance practices in packaging.
♣ Cleanliness and attention to detail.
♣ Flexible work schedule.
♣ Ability to work extended hours in unconditioned warehouse environment.
♣ Strict attention and adherence to safety standards.
♣ Team player.
