    About Accomplice Beer Company:

    The Accomplice Beer Company was founded on the belief that great craft beer should be complimented with excellent food and customer service.     Responsibilities:
    • Keep quality at the forefront of all areas of beer production while optimizing efficiency
    • Oversee all aspects of the Brewing Department
    • Brewing, recipe formulation, and quality control
    • Drive data-based quality decisions and process improvements
    • Planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing areas that may need improvement; and ensuring safe work practices and safety policies and procedures are maintained


    • Partner with our Chief Operations Office to ensure we deliver innovations, enhancements and improvements to our customers
    • Perform daily duties including but not limited to: CIP, Grain Milling, Operating Brew House,Wort Transfers, and Yeast Pitching. Fermentation Monitoring, Filtration, General Cleaning, and Beer tasting.
    • Monitor inventory of brewing/filtering supplies, etc.
    • Manage production schedule.
    • Maintain barrel cleaning and filtering.
    • Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks to ensure a smooth work schedule.
    • Monitor and maintain essential facilities. (i.e., Steam Boiler, Water Filters etc.)
    • Provide a safe and clean environment for brewery tours, events and fellow team members.
    • Promote brewery and beer through marketing and event functions.
    • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • The successful candidate for this role will have formal training at an accredited brewing school or a degree in an applicable science with at least 3 years of brewing experience.
    • Applicant will also be required to assist in sales in the brewery, future outside sales and interact with customers to promote our beer and the craft beer industry
    • Be able to multitask at a high level – see the big picture but not lose attention to detail
    • Be able to work and make critical decisions independently
    • Regularly demonstrate exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • Lead change and project management by developing workable implementation plans, coordinating projects, communicating changes effectively, building commitment and overcoming resistance, supporting those affected by change, and monitoring and delivering results.
    • Understand the essentials of hop selection, barley growing, and the malting process
    • Possess a deep passion for the art of fermentation, a strong understanding of historical beer styles and their flavor profiles, and a proven ability to create them
