  • Pressure Concerns

We have a custom built keg cleaner in our brewery since we only need to clean a half dozen at a time. We have CO2 running in from a regulator that is set at 20 PSI. Should I be adding a pressure relief valve or is setting the regulator good enough. Any recommendations would be helpful.

    Why not?

Kegs are meant to handle almost three times that pressure, but... When you say "custom" that throws up red flags. In my opinion it would be wise to add a PRV, or two. Cheap insurance considering the cost of the alternative.
