  • Best or most useful books for brewers

What are some of the must have books from school or reference books you like to have at home or at the brewery?

        Brewing Books

It all depends on how far you want to go or learn, likewise, how much you want to spend cause they are expensive. In my opinion I would recommend the following:

        1. Technology Brewing and Malting, Wolfgang Kunze
        2. Malts and Malting, Dennis E. Briggs
        3. Malting and Brewing Science Vol. 1 and 2, D.E. Briggs, J. Hough
        4. Classic Beer Style Series, Brewers Publication
German Wheat Beer, Kölsch, Lambic, depends on your preferred beer styles
        5. Designing Great Beers, Ray Daniels
        6. Evaluating Beer, Brewers Publication
        7. Brewing Science and Practice, Dennis E. Briggs, et al.
        8. The Practical Brewer, MBAA
        9. Handbook of Brewing, William A. Hardwick
        10. Handbook of Basic Brewing Calculations, MBAA
        11. The Biotechnology of Malting and Brewing, J.S. Hough
