Taxman Brewing Company in Bargersville, IN (30 min. south of downtown Indianapolis) is looking for the right individual to join our expanding team as a Cellarperson. We're a Belgian-style brewery and gastropub operating a 20bbl system, currently producing 4000 bbl/year and we're growing!
Position: Cellarperson
Hours: Full Time, Hourly, Typically 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Keg washing & racking
- Package draft, bottled and canned beer
- Draft system cleaning and maintenance
- Assisting with beer cooler management and rotating stock
- Pull and load orders for distribution
- Check gravities, dry hop tanks, monitor fermentation temps and test CO2 levels of conditioning beer
- General brewery cleaning and maintenance, including Clean In Place (CIP) and sanitizing
- Participate in brewery preventative maintenance (PM) program
- Assist in all aspects of cellaring, aging, yeast handling and beer conditioning programs
- Attend industry related events and give brewery tours as needed
- Educate tasting room staff on production and beer styles
- Receive, organize and inventory raw materials
- Assist brewing staff with wort production as needed
- Maintain safe operation of fork lifts, pallet jacks and other stock maneuverability equipment once trained
- Represent the company positively during marketing/industry events
- Flex roles with distribution team on occasion for delivery or customer service

- Must have strong analytic and problem solving skills
Skills/Requirements
- Clean driving record (must be insurable under our drivers policy)
- Strong attention to detail and focus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Work well in undefined circumstances
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including (but not limited to) using chemicals properly, utilizing appropriate PPE and identifying/correcting potential workplace hazards
- Ability to lift 60 lbs, move 160 lbs
- Flexible with work schedule (nights and weekends as needed)
- Ability to maneuver in enclosed spaces and on ladder elevations safely
- Previous experience in production facilities/breweries or significant homebrewing experience a plus
- Previous experience operating a forklift or mechanical/maintenance experience a plus
