  • Looking for Cellar Operator/Assistant in S. Colorado

Looking for the right individual to grow with a rapidly expanding brewpub in southern Colorado. Experience preferred but not necessary. We will gladly train the right individual that is eager to learn, work, and grow with the company. Promoting from within is our preferred model. Position would start as Cellar Operator with strong potential for advancement. Looking for the right person to kick ass.

    Duties to include:

-Cleaning kegs on two head semi-automatic keg washer (cakewalk)
-CIP of vessels, MLT, and Kettle
    -Kegging beer
    -Crushing grain
    -Transferring beer (eventually)
    -Cleaning
    -Receiving grain and supplies
    -Cleaning
    -Inventory
    -Cleaning
-Setup and pour beer at festivals as a representative of our brewery (you get to drink beer!)
-Probably more stuff I can't think of right now

    Expectations:

-Be reliable. Show up to work when you are expected.
-Good work ethic. Do things the right way the first time.
-Follow established safety and process procedures.
    -Be accountable. Everyone makes mistakes.
-Be able to operate in tight working conditions. We are a brewpub in an old building. Space is limited. Not trying to discriminate, but Hulk Hogan simply would not be able to physically work in our brewery.
-Must be able to lift at least 55lbs over your own head without hurting yourself or others.
-No drug use. Company policy dictates any work related accident requires drug screening.
    -No previous felonies.

    Would Be Nice:

    -don't smell bad
    -Strong sense of logic
    -have a good personality
-able to work individually unsupervised or in a team format.
    -Mechanical aptitude/intuition
