    JOB TITLE: Wisconsin Distributor Sales Manager

    REPORTS TO: VP of Sales and Marketing

    POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Salaried Exempt

    This position will secure new business in the state of Wisconsin via direct sales and further develop existing business via promotional execution and merchandising activities of the assigned distribution network.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Understanding brand programming and communicating to distributors, specifically provide expertise and communication/leadership on portfolio management strategies, brand priorities, sales strategies, go-to-market pricing strategies and chain selling execution
    • Monthly forecasting of beer orders and ensure distributor partner places correct orders on time
    • Ensure the implementation of all sales and marketing programs and materials for the entire portfolio
    • Motivate distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives
    • Development of weekly/monthly/trimester/annual plan and active in-market implementation/execution/evaluation
    • Use VIP reports to maintain knowledge of current sales trends and inventory
    • Conduct trimester meetings with distributor partners to ensure sales goals are met
    • Conduct thorough ROI analysis on all sales/promotional programs
    • Work with the National Account Manager to assure our National/Local chain programs get tracked, communicated, executed and the results are measured.
    • Achieve and Maintain ASBC retail standards while adhering to ASBC marketing and overall company visions.
    • Ensure quality standards for ASBC brands are understood and maintained by distributors for best possible freshness to consumers.
    • Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores)
    • Identify accounts that are not being penetrated with ASBC products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
    • Accountable for analysis, segmentation and development of target account list for ASBC brands-implement a strategy to succeed within assigned distributors
    •Conduct wait-staff / bartender educations, beer tastings and beer dinners
    • Ensure proper merchandising of on- and off-premise accounts
    • Plan and execute on-premise promotions as required (note: evenings; weekend festivals)
    • Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off-premise.
    • Execute ASBC retail standards and ensure distributor compliance to standard
    • Be responsible for the allocation and use of point-of-sale materials
    • Collect data (e.g. pricing, distribution) as required
    • Compile and submit reports required for the sales division
    • Operate effectively within corporate and budgetary guidelines
    • Track and monitor progress in all identified accounts
    • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of malt beverages

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • two to three years of beer business experience
    • Ability to interface with various levels of management, at wholesale as well as retail
    • Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct trainings/promotions
    • Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
    • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
    • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
    • Strong judgment and professional maturity
    • Excellent problem solving skills; mathematically proficient
    • Willingness to travel overnight and a good driving record
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
