Food Scientist in Southern California looking for a new opportunity
I am currently a food scientist looking to switch gears into the brewing industry. I currently home brew and work in a production facility for The Natures Bounty Co. where we produce neutraceutical tablets. Previously I worked in a similar facility where we produced tablets, capsules and powdered beverages. Through these experiences I have learned a great deal about working in a plant environment and following sanitation and SOP guidelines as well as flavor and sensory analysis. My main function is in product development where I put together formulas, run pilots and qualify new materials among other things. I am looking for brewing, cellar and packaging work.
