Wyndridge Farm® is a historic American farm that produces some of the best craft beer and hard cider you will find, and we are passionate about bringing it to everyone. This is craft beverages on a grand production scale. Our facility is a craft lover's site to see.
Run by Head Brewer Pete Koelsch and Cider master Scott Topel our brewery is a 4,000 square foot, 30-barrel, 4-vessel, automated brewhouse with a 12,000 barrel a year fermentation capacity. We recently expanded to 4 additional 150-barrel tanks and another 1,000 square feet of space, which will double our capacity to approximately 28,000 barrels.
Our portfolio includes six-flagship beer & cider packaged products, two farm-crafted sodas and numerous seasonal draft only beers and ciders. In January 2015 we moved from self-distribution to wholesale and our crafty beverages are being sold in PA, MD, NJ, OH, VA, WV, NH, DC, AL and RI. More states to be launched in the next few months.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Brand Ambassador you will be responsible for representing Wyndridge Farm during in-store demos, tap-takeovers, cider pairings and various local festivals. You will also work closely with the area sales manager to identify opportunities for growth in the field. We are seeking an outgoing, craft beer and cider enthusiasts who have day, night and weekend availability. Most of these events will take place on on Thursday/Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Off-site Product Samplings
Solicit and cultivate relationships with retail and restaurant personnel to set up samplings
Fulfill sampling/demo objectives set forth by the Sales team
Greet customers with a positive attitude
Check photo id's and distribute samples as well as relay our unique story to consumers
Actively engage and educate consumers about Wyndridge Farm brands and our products
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job
Submit sampling recap report within 48 hours of the promotion
Must have reliable transportation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Outgoing and positive personality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Self-motivated and reliable
Passion for people and for craft beer and cider
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Flexible availability -- nights and weekends
Serving and/or bartending experience preferred but not required
Beer and Cider knowledge preferred -- will train upon hire
The ability to sell ketchup popsicles to people in white gloves
PA RAMP certified a must
HOURS
Part-time
This is a 1099 independent contractor position
