    Hey all-

    I am seeking a good performance indicator for a local sales rep.

    For example, how many barrels of beer would you expect a full-time sales person to sell in a major city like LA, San Diego, or Sacramento?

    I understand that everyone will have a different standard, but I’m simply looking to gain some insight.

    hard to say

    There are a lot of variables at play when it comes to your sales force. Are you wanting to push hard on taking up shelf space and stealing handles or do you want them to focus more on customer relationships. Do you have a strong distributor who is assisting with anything or are you self distributing and building from the ground up? What is the volume you are producing a annually and what are your 1yr/5yr/10yr goals? Hard to give a flat answer on something like this.
