Mikkeller Brewing San Diego is deeply rooted in the friendship of two world renowned breweries, (gypsy trailblazers) Mikkeller and (legendary) AleSmith. Our vision is to merge the best craft beer traditions of Europe and Southern California, while employing a curiosity in exploring the boundaries for modern beer brewing. Expect super fresh, hoppy beers as well as classic European styles.
In 2006 Mikkel Borg Bjergso was a math and physics teacher who started experimenting with hops, malt and yeast back home in his kitchen in Copenhagen. Today Mikkel exports his micro brewed beer to 40 different countries and he is internationally acclaimed as one of the most innovative and cutting edge brewers in the world
Packaging Line Operator/Warehouse Worker :
• Operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner while focusing on quality.
• Tracking raw materials and finished goods throughout a packaging run.
• Forklift operations.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintains inventory controls and conducts scheduled inventory counts.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Communicate effectively and work well with other teammates.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Packaging Line Operator/Warehouse Worker Skills and Qualifications:
Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Data Entry Skills, Dependability
Requirements:
• Physically capable of a variety of duties including but not limited to moving full kegs.
• Our brewery is located in the Miramar neighborhood of San Diego. Reliable transportation is required.
• Proper use of PPE.
• Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
Work Environment:
• Wet, cold, and noisy area.
• Working with strong chemicals.
