    Texas Ale Project is hiring for a Brewmaster / Production Manager. This position is for someone that desires to grow long term with a strong, younger company.
    Located in the heart of the Dallas Design District, Texas Ale Project is a family owned manufacturing craft brewery that opened in 2014. We strive every day to produce consistent, high quality craft beer. We encourage innovation in efficiencies, creative thinking in brews, and currently have an ambitious, fun team. This position manages all production activities including brewing, cellaring, and packaging. This role will be responsible for hiring and onboarding a strong production team when needed as we grow. Strong candidates take the initiative to overcome challenges and implement better programs on their own to help the business grow successfully.

    Preferred candidates have the following qualifications:
    • 4+ years of brewing and management experience in a manufacturing brewery
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Formal brewing education and/or equivalent professional brewing experience (highly preferred)
    • Able to brew consistent, high quality beers
    • Proven ability to implement, lead, and maintain high quality control & yeast management SOPs
    • Thorough knowledge of step-mashing and other brewing processes
    • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
    • Fluent in production planning, tracking and analysis using Excel and able to learn new software easily
    • Superb analytical / math skills
    • Ability to easily adapt to the challenges of a 2.5 year old, fast growing brewery
    • Able to physically conduct all activities in production (forklift, lift 55+ lbs.)
    • Can stay organized and multi-task to ensure proper operation and maintenance of brewing equipment, chilling equipment, boiler etc.
    • Team oriented; solid training and management skills that drive performance and positive attitudes
    • Highly organized and self-motivated; calm under pressure
