Armstrong Brewing Co. is your neighborhood brewery located in downtown South San Francisco. We offer great house beers and locally sourced guest beers on tap and a full barrel aging program surely to please the craft novice all the way to the connoisseur.
Armstrong is looking for a few new members to add to our team. If you are a person that loves craft beer and delivering a high quality experience to patrons, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Interact and greet customers in professional manner
- Serve Beer/Wine and Check-out to-go Beer Sales
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Monitor and ensure cleanliness in the bar area: sanitize work surfaces, take out garbage, Wipe and Clean Bar, Work area and tables, Clean and Wash Barware
- Knowledge and ability to run POS system
- Collect money for drinks served and balance cash receipts
- Check and Clean Bathrooms
- Knowledge of Beer styles, strength, categories. Knowledge of Beer on draft and Bottle Beer options in order to be able to make recommendations if asked.
- Coursework related to the restaurant or hospitality or willingness to obtain: Safe Serve Certification, Cicerone
- Physical Requirements: Excessive standing and walking without breaks/ Exposure to heat (Kitchen) and cold (Freezer)/Bending, reaching and flexibility in confined areas/ Lifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs.
