Live Oak Brewing Company is seeking a person to maximize production uptime by:
Maintaining and documenting correct operation of all physical systems, including
Boiler and Steam
Compressed Air
Refrigeration
Carbon Dioxide
Brew House Process Equipment
Packaging Process Equipment
Electrical
Plumbing
HVAC
Scheduling all routine maintenance tasks
Carrying out or contracting out all routine maintenance tasks on schedule
Carrying out or contracting out all brewery equipment repairs
Responding to and resolving all equipment failures
Specifying, purchasing, and installing tools and equipment for all departments
Identifying, purchasing, and organizing spare parts for all brewery systems
Specifying, budgeting, purchasing, installing, and maintaining needed equipment
Maintaining excellent relationships with outside contractors
Keeping brewery and equipment clean and orderly
The ideal candidate has the following:
Ability to learn new concepts quickly
Ability to solve complex problems
Excellent work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Strong preference for organization and documentation
Ability to stand or walk for most of the day, occasionally lifting up to 165 lbs
A valid drivers license
No fear of heights
Desire to work in a brewery
Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial maintenance, 3+ years
Familiarity with electrical, compressed air, steam, refrigeration, and food processes
Experience contracting out work
Experience using tools safely and effectively
Experience using a computer to communicate and research
Experience operating work vehicles, forklifts and boom lifts
Additional experience which would be useful:
TIG welding
PLC programming and troubleshooting
This full-time position reports to the facilities manager.
Compensation is $15 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and fit.
