The Gyppo Ale Mill is seeking a head brewery to join our family. Our brewery is located on one of the most picturesque coastlines in the world. What we lack in people, we make up in beauty. An ideal candidate will be excited to experiment with flavor profiles but also have a base of knowledge to create only the highest qualities standard beers.

Work closely with owners to create weekly production schedules and ensure they are met
Manage inventory and ongoing procurement of ingredients and purchasing optimization
Conduct critical assessment of beers and ensure products meet rigid quality standards
Job Requirements:
Excellence in brewing that pairs meticulous cleanliness with an endless drive for creativity;
Cellaring, yeast management and recipe development;
Perform maintenance on boiler and brewing equipment;
Standard Operating Procedures developed and followed for brewing, cellaring and sanitation;
Recipe development for seasonals and extensive barrel-aging program;
A work ethic aligned with, and supportive of a high growth organization;
A passion for our business and our products;
Professional brewing experience
Formal brewing education and/or equivalent professional brewing experience is a positive but not necessary
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, work from heights, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift 55 pounds.
