South Shore Brewery is seeking a hard-working, highly motivated, quality focused, safety driven and team oriented Cellar Person to join our team. South Shore Brewery has (2) locations: Ashland and Washburn, WI
This position will consist of:
- Keg Washing.
- Packaging of both kegs and bottles.
- Assisting brewers with cleaning schedules and procedures.
- CIP/SIP of tanks and vessels.
- Transferring and carbonation of beer.
- General housekeeping.
The ideal candidate must:
- have worked in a brewery before, but those with homebrewing experience will also be considered.
- Possess a positive "can do" and "will do" attitude.
- Have strong communication skills with good team dynamics.
- Work independently and as part of the team.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Display strong organization skills.
- Be flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. (Shift work, night shifts, weekends and overtime)
- Possess a strong work ethic and ability to efficiently multitask.
- Be able to lift (75 lbs), roll/load 1/2 bbl kegs (175 lbs) on/off of pallets, crouch, bend and stand on feet for a full shift.
- Be able to pay attention to detail.
Preference given to candidates who have worked in a brewery before, but those with home brewing experience will also be considered.
