Job Title: Tap Room Manager
Chandeleur Brewing Company is looking for an energetic and motivated tap room manager. Upon passage of House Bill 1322, starting July 1st, breweries in Mississippi will be allowed to sell beer on site. Come be a part of history in the best taproom on the Gulf Coast. You will work closely with the brew master to market the tap room and ensure the highest level of customer service at all times.
The right person will be getting in on the ground floor of our on-site sales taproom. We are looking for a self-motivated team player that is up to the challenge of running a successful tap room. A passion for craft beer and educating the public to our mission is essential. This person, while in charge of day to day operations in the tap room, will be an integral part of our overall business plan.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality management role in high volume bar/restaurant
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Extensive beer knowledge and a passion for craft beer (Certified beer servers and Certified Cicerones strongly encouraged to apply)
Open availabil with majority of hours being in the evenings and on weekends
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Valid MS Driver’s License
Duties:
Maintain welcoming, educational, exciting and inviting experience
Manage Tap Room guest satisfaction and overall brewery visitor experience
Ensure tap room is properly staffed for service and all guests have a great experience
Plan and schedule profitable public and private events in tap room space
Utilize 4 walls marketing to promote upcoming events and brand awareness
Manage social media marketing
Profitable growth
• Meet Tap Room financial objectives as they relate to overall brewery goals
• Manage Tap Room budget
• Manage inventory and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs
• Analyze trends on visitors, events, beer, and merchandise
Pay:
Hourly plus tips with bonus potential.
