Funky Buddha Brewery, located in Oakland Park, Florida, is seeking a full-time Central Florida Account Manager to join its growing team in the Central Florida area. Established in 2010 at its Boca Raton brewpub, Funky Buddha is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional brewing methods with culinary-inspired recipes utilizing all-natural, food-centric ingredients. Some of its best-known beers include flagships Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, No Crusts Peanut Butter and Jelly Brown Ale, and Last Snow Coffee Porter. Responsibilities:
As Central Florida Account Manager for Funky Buddha Brewery, the candidate will directly be responsible for all aspects of the sales territory including seeking and closing new accounts, retaining and growing current business, marketing to accounts, training and education, and working with our distributor to execute and manage our positions in the market. Territory is defined as Orlando and outlying areas including but not limited to Lakeland, The Villages, and Flagler and Volusia counties. Job duties include:
Achieving sales and marketing goals set on a monthly basis
Acquiring new distribution for Funky Buddha product in retail accounts
Organizing, promoting and executing promotional events at accounts and in the market including beer dinners, tap takeovers, festivals, tasting events, and samplings
Increasing rate of sale through brand visibility, staff trainings, and education
Maintaining weekly reports and detailed, digital notes using internal CRM software
Manage relationships at key accounts while identifying and targeting growth accounts
Managing and developing distributor relationships, including executing work withs, communicating and driving sales performance initiatives, and execution of business plan
Working with Sales Manager to manage inventory in market, maintaining minimum days on hand, healthy turn rate, and depleting all seasonal and limited brands according to plan
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a passion for our beer, strong sales skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to grow and maintain relationships. Being a highly self-motivated individual with a strong sense of personal responsibility is crucial to this role.
Additional requirements include:
21 years of age
A minimum of one year of experience in a sales forward role
Must live inside the primary sales territory or be willing to relocate.
A people person who excels at forging meaningful relationships with others
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Strong organizational habits, a self-motivated work ethic, and good critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to work nights and weekends and travel regionally for the company
Computer literate with an understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel
A strong passion for American craft beers as well as a knowledge of the brewing process, beer styles, beer presentation, and rudimentary beer dispense
Knowledge of beer distribution and the three-tier system
A good palate, especially for beer
Personal vehicle with clean driving record and personal liability insurance (we offer an automotive allowance)
