We are an Austin-based brewery running a 30bbl brewhouse seeking a full-time dedicated sales/brand ambassador (Market Manager) for the Houston area. We have been growing the Houston market via self-distribution through relationships with most major retailers and a handful of off-prem accounts. We are looking for an energetic and driven craft-beer fanatic to help us grow both on- and off-prem presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and development of self-distribution model to Houston-Metro area
- Account acquisition, development, and maintenance
- Conducting and managing sales for on- and off-prem accounts
- Strategic planning and scheduling of demos for off-prem accounts
- Strategic planning, scheduling, and running of events at on-prem accounts
- Retail merchandising and display building
- Represent the brewery at occasional special events, festivals, industry meetings, etc.
- Occasionally may need to deliver beer to on- and off-prem accounts.
- Occasionally may need to help maintain draft lines (cleaning, keg hook-up, testing)
Needs:
- Outgoing, self-driven, energetic
- Detail oriented, organized
- DIY attitude
- Access to personal transportation
- Willing to work some weekends and nights (as needed)
- Working knowledge of craft beer and the beer industry (Cicerone certification preferred)
- 2+ years sales experience (Beer/Alcohol industry preferred)
- Ability to lift a keg (150lb+)
