The Staff Accountant position is a highly interactive position with touchpoints to many parts of the organization. Primary areas of responsibilities include Beer Shipment Invoicing, Goods Receipt Entry, Cash Management, KPI Reporting and Contract Manufacturing Accounting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong understanding of accounting theories and practices
- Working knowledge of GL entries
- Ability to work closely with all departments
- Communicates clearly in all oral and written communications
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Self-starter willing to take on new responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Excellent proficiency in Excel
- Working knowledge of Great Plains a plus
- 1-3 years of experience
- Manufacturing experience a plus
Position Responsibilities
- Accurately process beer related invoices, including returns and credits
- Maintain and update pricing information
- Enter and post receiving paperwork for raw and packaging materials, and MRO parts and services
- Manage local bank account and gift shop sales
- Cash management activities including petty cash and Taste Room cash drawers
- Review and enter employee expense reports
- Maintain the point-of-sale system for the gift shop (Revel) including adding new items, applying discounts, creating reports and importing sales information into Great Plains
- Maintain and update Brewery KPI Scorecard
- Taste Room and Merchandise P&L reporting
- Coordinate the accounting for contract brewing and packaging activities
- Assist in annual audit procedures
- Assist in development of internal controls and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures
- Design ad hoc reports as requested
