  • Zahm or a much less expensive TAP RITE

Working a very tight budget as are many of you. Would anyone have any info on the tap rite unit model number 2701- bct?

Zahm is a way more expensive unit and this looks to do the same thing only in a plastic body.

Been searching and cant find a comparison.

Zahm or nothing. The Taprite doesnt not work the same and frankly you get what you pay for. It's cheap made, a pain to clean and mostly useless. Invest in a zahm or go without.

I agree with the above post, don't even consider the Taprite. It has been my experience that you will eventually come to realize that the Zahm actually IS the budget alternative to considerably pricier options.

I'll third the Zahm. There isn't any real point in going cheaper than one of them.

we now have two Zahms. $1400 for a tool that does the job and lasts a few lifetimes?
