Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated individual who is excited about a new arena of the wine industry. As a fast paced company you will be performing many tasks (some of which are outlined below). A successful candidate must be able to multi-task, work efficiently, communicate clearly, have a high degree of attention to detail and enjoy working with a small team. You will be based at our Napa production facility.
Key responsibilities:
• Support production team under supervision of the Production Managers.
• Tank, kegging line, canning line, and equipment sanitation
• Kegging and canning line operation while adhering to SOP’s
• Perform analyses on wines including FS02, DO, DCO2
• Lab Experience a plus
• Wine adjustments based on analyses
• Understand sterility and handling of finished wines
• Bulk wine management
• Knowledge of production schedule to become self-directing
• Wine receiving: unloading full tanks and offloading wines
• Accurate documentation and record keeping
• Forklift operation, maintenance and safety
Minimum Qualifications:
• Cellar experience preferred
• Extremely detailed oriented
• Must be able to clearly speak and write in English and perform basic math
• Able to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders, and be able to lift 60 lbs
• Required to wear a harness and PPE when necessary
• High school diploma or GED required
• Consistently strong work ethic
• Team player
This position reports to our Production Supervisor. Some overtime hours are required based on workflow and scheduling.
