We are seeking an upbeat, forward-thinking Materials Coordinator to oversee procurement of all raw ingredients, process aides, and packaging materials in accordance with historical depletions and MRP. The materials coordinator is also expected to lead weekly and monthly inventory counting procedures and necessary variance adjustments.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Calculate and utilize ideal inventory targets and safety stocks to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Communicate any material excesses or limitations to internal stakeholders.
• Trouble shoot service failures to eliminate reoccurrence.
• Build relationships with established vendors while analyzing and vetting future partnerships.
• Fully leverage internal ERP systems to ensure appropriate material levels and costing.
• Monitor internal capacity to balance material stocks with space limitations.
• Maintain accurate records and documents informing all procurement activities, including purchase orders, receiving transactions, invoices, and packing slips.
• Oversee weekly and monthly inventory counts in all material categories, and ensure accurate and appropriate system variance corrections.
Requirements:
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Comfort with data-driven analyses
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated strength in relationship building and communication
• Highly detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks
• Experienced using MRP/ERP systems
• Skilled in thinking critically and problem solving
• Willingness to fill in other job duties as necessary
• Readiness to report to either of Victory’s production facilities, dependent upon need
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and move 165 pounds
