    Position Title: Sales & Brand Representative
    Territory: Indianapolis North

    Taxman Brewing Company is seeking a full time Sales Representative for the Indianapolis North territory to service draft accounts.

    About Taxman: Taxman Brewing Company is dedicated to crafting small-batch, artisanal beers influenced by the various styles found in the US and Europe, all the while pushing the limits on what is currently available in the local microbrewery scene.

    Position Summary
    This position is responsible for outside beer sales with the goal of optimizing profit and meeting marketing, financial and
    company growth objectives. This is a full-time position which may require work weeks in excess of 40 hours, including
    some nights and weekends. Traveling to and meeting with new and existing Taxman clients will account for
    approximately 90% of this position. Remaining time will be spent developing sales strategy, attending tasting events at
    accounts, increasing product knowledge and preparing sales reports for management. The sales and brand
    representative is expected to schedule and attend client events such as tap takeovers and in store tastings at liquor
    stores. This position is predominately remote / offsite but will require weekly meetings with management at Taxman as
    needed. This position should strive to maintain a determined minimum monthly managed revenue after the initial
    onboarding / ramp up period. The ramp up period will be approximately three months in duration. This position will be
    required to pass a product aptitude test prior to beginning field work.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Meet or exceed sales targets for territory and accounts
    • Seek out new opportunities to increase sales and overall market penetration
    • Prepare monthly sales reports on time and in a professional manner
    • Educate and train existing and new accounts on Taxman’s product portfolio
    • Ensure consistency with all company marketing and sales activities
    • Provide monthly updates on accounts indicating sales trends, market trends, etc.
    • Promote Taxman brand and products at festivals and events (some weekends and evenings required)


    Other Duties
    • Schedule and attend tap takeover and other marketing events with clients
    • Maintain a positive attitude and build relationships with clients
    • Document and relay customer feedback to Taxman management


    Qualifications and Competencies
    Previous outside sales experience, strong knowledge of territory, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent driving record, superior knowledge of beer and must be able to work evenings and weekends.
