We are located in Sterling, Va. and our brewing facility was built exclusively as a host for partner brewing, contract brewing, and the production of private label beers.     PURPOSE

    The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for production scheduling, sales cycle management, management accounting, and ERP system management

    Position Reports To: President

    *

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Support of President in client relations and sales

    * Identification of inefficient or insufficient processes brought to the President’s attention

    · Identification of opportunities for cost savings and/or margin increases

    · Management of the production schedule based on available equipment and labor resources

    · Communicate clearly with the Production Manager to be in sync with all aspects of production and operations

    · Manage the operation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

    · Oversee inventory of all client owned and Beltway owned inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods, and generate monthly invoices for clients utilizing storage services

    · Work with Brewing Technology Coordinator and Production Manager to price recipes then provide quotes to clients

    · Process sales orders from clients and work with accounting to send invoices

    * Provide purchase orders to vendors for raw materials

    · Generate the TTB Brewer’s Report of Operations and determine monthly/quarterly excise tax liabilities and work with accounting to process payments

    · Support of President in client relations and sales

    · Collaborate with the President and Accounting team to finalize and analyze yearly, quarterly, and monthly financials

    · Additional duties as required



    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

    · Bachelors Degree required in the areas of Business Administration, Finance or related field.

    * Formal education complimented by previous job experience in business administration, manufacturing operations management, finance, and/or brewing management will be considered

    · 1-3 years of operations management experience preferred

    · Proven effective management skills preferred

    · Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

    · Strong technology skills and comfortable adopting technology tools

    · Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred

    · Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook at a minimum, more applications preferred)

    · Excellent references that convey reliability and a stellar work ethic
