Full Time Head Brewer
Salt Lake City, Utah
We are a start-up brewery located in Salt Lake City. The facility is 11,000 square foot facility to produce kegged and canned product. We currently have a 15 barrel brew systems. With a production capability of 5000 bbl a year.
We are looking for someone who wants to join head up our team early with the following responsibilities:
- Establish the equipment plan and work flow
- Recipe formulation, all-grain brewing, cellaring and packaging
- Management of day-to-day operations
- Maintenance of accurate batch records, inventory maintenance and ordering
- Establish/maintain all lab and related quality control protocols
- Equipment maintenance
- Experience with lab equipment and yeast collection
- Employee hiring/training/management/scheduling
- Cost control
- Manage tours, tastings and special events

Job Requirements/Skills:
- 2 years of experience or 1 year professional experience with formal brewery training/education
- Willing to live/relocate to Utah
