    Job Description:
    The Office Manager/Accounting Specialist will perform administrative and daily functions in a professional, competent, and confidential manner as assigned by the President. This is the perfect position for a professional seeking a hands-on position that will have an immediate and consistent impact on the organization. The individual in the position of Office Manager/Accounting Specialist will complete tasks in the areas of payroll, accounts payable, billing of customers, ERP management and support of the brewery operations, excise tax filings and other responsibilities assigned by the President.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and meticulous record-keeping per Silver Moon Brewing standards. Duties will include a variety of administrative, clerical, financial and managerial tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining and managing personnel records, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping and accounting, and communicating and working with other members of the team, vendors, and customers to ensure day to day operations in the office run in the manner and to the desired standards of Silver Moon Brewing.

    • Financial management

    Oversee/coordinate accounting operations
    o Forecasting
    o Prepare and maintain budgets
    o Provide information to the consultant accountant who creates the company’s financial statements. Work closely with consultant accountant to obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

    o Collect and submit receipts for credit card accounts
    o Weekly reconciliation of the taproom petty cash fund

    ew Daily, Weekly and monthly Taproom Point of Sale reports
    • Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, and maintain all related records.

    Code and submit supplier invoices to the consultant accountant weekly. Consultant accountant will enter all invoices into financial software and process payments.

    ke all reasonable discounts on supplier invoices
    • Purchasing/Inventory management

    Assist Director of Brewery Operations by monitoring and maintaining par levels of raw goods and packaging components for beer production
    o Submit monthly keg projections/orders from Director of Brewery Operations to supplier
    o Complete monthly inventories of raw goods, packaging materials, packaged and draft beer and merchandise

    d monitor fixed assets
    • Become the subject matter expert with the ERP and keg management systems.

    Issue invoices to customers and ensure timely payment
    o
    Ensure that receivables are collected promptly

    • Maintain all licenses & facilities permits
    • Complete and submit monthly, quarterly and annual Federal and State reports
    • Work with marketing manager in coordinating events, scheduling of staff and event calendar and communication of calendar to all managers
    • Develop and maintain filing system and procedures for record retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal.
    • Work closely with Owners to develop weekly/monthly dashboard reports
    • Assist owners with all required duties.

    Qualifications
    5+ years as a manager, restaurant experience a plus
    • Effective listening skills and ability to communicate tactfully to a variety of audiences
    • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
    • Self-motivated and energetic
    • Ability to work weekends and evenings as necessary
    • Demonstrated hiring, scheduling, staffing, experience
    • Training and development skills
    • Administrative skills
    • Past experience with inventory and cost control
    • Working knowledge of brewing operations is a plus

    Work Requirements
    Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnights holidays, and weekends as business dictates. Position requires bending, standing, walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
