    WHO WE ARE:

    HEY EVERYONE!

    Hoboken Brewing Company is looking to expand the team and hire a Regional Sales Manager for Northern New Jersey. We are moving quickly and looking to have this person a part of the team by the end of August. Since we are new and this will be our initial launch into the beer market, there is a vast opportunity for this individual to excel. You need to be ambitious, outgoing and hungry, as we will be hitting the ground running with aggressive goals for our initial 12 months.
    Additionally, since we are new and in a large market, sky’s the limit!

    We will have no issues with expansion of volume and scalability, so we plan to make a big impact quickly. As well, since you will be the third member of the team, besides Brendan and Andrew, all of our roles will overlap. Yes, you are in charge of sales and new accounts, but we also expect you to be a person of many talents and help out where needed. We will need your support and assistance in all areas as we grow and your drive and accountability will ensure we get there.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Candidate will have the ability to grow his or her account base freely with a “sky is the limit” mindset as we blanket the market with our new brand. Some but not all responsibilities are:

    Open new draft and packaged can accounts in given footprint
    Maintain, manage, and develop active accounts
    Achieve sales goals provided by management
    Conduct special events, festivals, beer dinners & tastings, as needed
    Work closely with the owners, providing weekly report to management
    Some delivery responsibilities
    Some invoicing responsibilities
    Innovation, ideas and collaboration is encouraged to improve processes to build this brand


    QUALIFICATIONS

    Passion for the craft beer industry and an appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
    Knowledge of beer styles, ingredients, and general knowledge of the brewing process.
    3+ years of proven success in the alcoholic beverage industry.
    2+ years of proven success in sales in the alcoholic beverage industry.
    Must fit well into the company culture and work effectively across teams inside and outside of the organization.
    Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
    Live near your territory
    Personal ownership of results and ability to bring an innovative approach to getting things done.
    Exceptional strategic planning, and execution skills.
    Ability to travel regionally within the Northern NJ area.
    Excellent communication (Written/Verbal) and presentation skills.
    Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. ​
    Strong leadership qualities
    Ability to build rapport with clients

    Physical strength to lift and maneuver 175-lb kegs repeatedly and ability to stand 8-10 hours per day as well as the ability to withstand long periods of walking, bending, kneeling, climbing and maneuvering is required. Flexibility in working hours is also needed to fit in with the event schedule.

    Experience in brew software is a plus! OBeer, EKOS, QuickBooks, CRM, etc

    KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

    Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
