We are looking for a packaging team member at Southern Star Brewing Co. in Conroe, TX. Southern Star Brewing Co. was founded in 2007, and have grown our production to almost 15,000 bbl per year. We were the first craft brewery in Texas to put craft beer in cans. We strive for quality and consistency in every can and keg we produce. No brewery experience is required, but some level of mechanical knowhow and forklift competency is preferred. This job will typically be 40 hours per week, 9-5 M-F.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Have car or ability to get to and from work
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours at a time in a warehouse that is hot and humid in the summer, and cold in the winter
- Have a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
- Ability to maneuver or lift full kegs (165 lb.)

This job includes the following tasks:
- Putting 6 packs on beer in trays and stacking them on a pallet
- Packing 12 packs of beer
- Cleaning kegs
- Filling kegs
- Using chemicals and hot water to clean
- Cleaning the canning line and floors around it
- Forklifting pallets of beer into coldbox
- Other tasks required to help the packaging team get the job done
