Packaging Operator - Sly Fox Brewing Co. - Pottstown, PA
Sly Fox Brewing Company is looking for a smart, hard-working, beer-loving individual for an entry level position in the packaging area. This job is full-time and based at our production brewery in Pottstown, PA.
This position requires first and second shift work and scheduling flexibility. Primary responsibilities will be running our can filler, six-packer, twelve-packer, keg line, and bottling line while ensuring the quality of all packaged beer and cleanliness in the brewery.
Our preferred candidate would have:
* An obsession and eye for quality.
* Strong communication skills.
* The desire to work in a group as well as independently.
* Ability to work at a fast pace, yet be precise in daily tasks.
* Ability to multitask and manage time.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Flexible availability.
* Desire to learn.
* Ability to work safely and abide by safety standards.
* An appreciation for beer, of course!
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* Ability to work on feet for 8+ hours at a time.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
* Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
* Ability to work near moving mechanical parts.
* Ability to work and communicate in a moderate noise level (under 85 decibels).
