  • Max distance for drops to tank, per jacket gpm, & glycol piping design feedback pls!

    Greeetings!

Opening a new brewery in Medellin, Colombia next month and just finishing up glycol system, I would love your help, por favor!

I have the following layout I am considering, based on some preliminary designs GF did for me before I realized their products were out of budget: red line is feed (4inch tubing) , blue is return (4inch tubing), yellow is 1" pex headers.
    * this is based on 12 ferms (30BBL) and 4 BBTS(30BBT) and a CLT (20BBT), ferms and BBTS all vessels have 3 Jackets.

I was wondering, if I were to run 20 foot runs from trunk to brite tank via 1" pex if

1.)Is that an issue from a piping perspective?

2.)Is that an issue from a temperature sensor length perspective?

Open to any thoughts or suggestions, including different configuration for running trunk lines! I am in south america so I cant just call up a local expert

Also I have 3 jackets, if I t all the jackets off of a 1" pipe, as i get it the max gpm on one inch is 15gpm, which would mean 5 gpm for each jacket is that fine, or should i bump header up a 1/4 inch which I believe would get me 3pgms more per jacket (Source on flow rates per tubing size: https://www.hy-techroofdrains.com/wa...hrough-a-pipe/) ?

    Help is appreciated!

    Thanks
    Todd
