Kombucha Town is in dire need of a passionate, creative, motivated and experienced Lead to take charge of our packaging program and grow with our exploding production volumes.
Experience with both rotary and inline is a plus. Pay DOE.
Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of and safe, efficient operation of canning and peripheral equipment
- Ensure quality of all packaged product (cans, growlers, kegs)
- Accurate and timely inventory reporting/tracking
- Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of interior/exterior of all packaging equipment and packaging hall end of each day
- Preventative maintenance of all packaging equipment
- Safe use of all hazardous chemicals
- Safe operation of all manual/electric/propane lifts
- Effective communication within packaging team and other brewery personnel
- Training and management of packaging team
- Ability to maintain calm in a hectic, fast-paced, cramped work environment with retro-fitted equipment
- Ability to think on your feet and be creative
Application Requirements:
- Valid WA state driver's license
- Good attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Detail oriented and excited about perfecting repetitive tasks
- Sense of humor
- Full-time availability
- Knowledge and experience in the field of carbonated beverage packaging
Physical Requirements:
- ability to lift 70lb. chest height
- ability to lift 15lb. and rotate spine hundreds of times a day
- ability to work on feet majority of the day
