  • Are Italian & German canning lines worth it?

Would really like to hear any feedback from people who own or operate Comac, CFT, Krones, Leibinger, Markl, Cime, etc. rotary counter pressure canning lines. Is the price difference between Euro machines and American-Chinese units justified in the performance you get from them?

How is throughput? Fill consistency? DO? Seam quality? How are they to maintain - cost & simplicity? After sales service..?

Companies like Palmer and Profill are offering American sales and service on Chinese equipment. There is definitely a niche for them - but how do all these machines perform relative to one another?

Any personal experiences to share are welcome!

Resurrection of Thread from the past. Same question as OP. Looking to upgrade from our in line open air filler to a rotary counter pressure. Anyone want to share their experiences from the American companies mentioned above?
