Our Mission:
The idea behind Denver Beer Co is simple. Good beer is best enjoyed with friends, fresh air, and a bit of adventurous spirit to sharpen the palate. Serving only premium artisan ales and lagers, we utilize fresh ingredients and embrace both innovative and old world styles of beer. Similar to a farmer’s table, our beer selections change with the seasons.
Denver Beer Co is a local brewery in the heart of Denver. We are growing and looking for a new team member. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, fun, and ambitious. Passion for beer is a must. We love making new friends and hanging with old ones!
Who we are looking for:
We need someone with a “get it done” attitude for this part time position. Someone who can transport inventory between different facilities. Certain days will require multiple stops throughout the Denver metro area, and we need someone who can plan out the most efficient route to accomplish all stops in a day. It’s important to notice details, and be able to problem solve on the fly. The camaraderie of the Denver Beer Co team is strong, and working well with others is a necessity. We are super proud at the end of each day of what we have accomplished and want you to feel that way as well.
The position:
The main responsibility of the delivery driver will be to pick up and deliver beer kegs, cases, brewing supplies, merchandise, and other items and transfer between DBC facilities. The position will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and picking up and dropping off shipments to/from distributors and vendors.
In addition, the position requires
Assembling orders for each location.
Loading and unloading orders for each location
Loading and unloading trucks
The ability to communicate effectively and work well with other departments
Safely operating the forklift
Managing cooler rotation
Maintaining general cleanliness of the brewery
Putting together and shipping online merchandise orders
Assisting with brewery events
Performing other housekeeping and maintenance tasks around the facility
Being a team player
Having a positive attitude
Requirements
Ability to lift and maneuver bags of grain and full half barrel kegs of beer
Passion for beer
Ability to work 2-3 days a week with occasional additional shifts
Ability to become forklift certified
Ability to follow SOP’s
Clean driving record
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
The Canworks brewery is loud and wet.
Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day).
Able to frequently lift heavy materials (minimum 55 lb. boxes and bags shoulder high up to 50 times daily) and stack full kegs.
