The Role
Convergent Coffee Co. is looking for brewers to assist in all aspects of our coffee production and operations lifecycle.
The position will involve working with the production manager, QA lead and production team to ensure the highest quality coffee is being produced in a timely manner. An ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated individual who is capable of learning new techniques quickly and willing to adapt to fill many roles.

Job Description
• Assist in the day-to-day operations including operating commercial brewing equipment, maintaining the brewing schedule, cleaning the brewery and equipment
• Collect, record, and monitor various quality control metrics
• Effectively communicate pertinent information to various departments across the organization (production yields, inventory amounts, QA metrics, etc.)
• Follow procedures, while able to improvise within guidelines if needed
• Package and prepare final product
• Interact with vendors delivering inputs and customers picking up product.
• Frequent, and often continual, reaching, twisting, bending, standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs.), and other physical activities
• Ability to follow all safety, health, and cleanliness protocols
Desired Qualifications
• Previous brewery, winery, or cidery experience highly preferred
• Strong interest in craft beverages and specialty coffee
• Adaptability to changes in work environment, able to manage time and deal with delays or unexpected events
• Background knowledge of microbiology and sanitation practices highly preferred
• Is interested in improvement of self, the organization, and the coffee community
• Ability to set and follow a schedule
• HAACP, ServSafe, and SQF Practitioner training
• The urge to be a part of the first craft coffee brewery
• Good taste in music
