    PACKAGING TECH/ASSISTANT BREWER

    About Us
    Bombshell is North Carolina’s first 100% women owned brewery. In operation for four years, we make ales and lagers in Holly Springs- a town just south of Raleigh. We self-distribute draft and canned beer.

    About the Job
    This is a new position created by our growth! The main duties of the job will include working on the packaging line, cleaning and filling kegs, helping manage inventory and vessel cleaning. This is a great way to get into the craft beer business.
    This is a full time, hourly paid job that reports directly to the head brewer.
    Initially, you’ll work with the head brewer. After some time you will need to be able to work independently. You must be able and willing to work night and weekend shifts. Flexibility is key. You may also be asked to work 9-5 one day and Noon to 8 pm the next. Periodically, you will assist with outside events/festivals.

    Our ideal candidate can/is
    • Work a flexible schedule
    • Work in very hot conditions
    • Work and stand on your feet for at least eight hours at a time
    • Move a full half-barrel keg (weighs around 165 pounds)
    • Work in a safe manner with dangerous chemicals
    • And is-21 years or older
    • Very organized
    • Able to juggle tasks
    • Positive in attitude
    • Have fun
    • A Fan of 90s rock


    Bonus Points
    • Have some brewery experience
    • Have a degree in chemistry
    • Have completed or are in a formal brewing education program

    • More than you’ve ever cared to know about the history of brewing
