  • Glassware Quantity

Is there a recommended ratio of glassware to maximum customer capacity that anyone would recommend/used in the past? We will be having 16 oz,12 oz, and 5 oz glasses and looking at the quantities we need for each.

Depends on what you'll be serving in which, flights, taproom traffic, etc...

Keep in mind they don't go bad, it's pretty hard to order too many, especially for special occasions like opening weekend or other festival.

We used 16, 10 and 5 oz glasses. 16 is the most popular, we keep about 1.5x our seating capacity of those behind the bar. We use 5ers for flights, so we keep we probably have about 1.5x capacity stocked. 10 is the least common, mostly for big beers, but we still do about 1x behind the bar.

We have an extra 1x or so of our seating capacity of each stored away too for inevitable breakage.

If you can squeeze it in the budget, order a crapload.
