Fish Brewing Company, located in Olympia, Washington, is hiring for a full time Cellar Person.
Primary Responsibilities:
• CIP of fermentation tanks, bright tanks, and yeast holding tanks.
• CIP of beer line, bright beer line cleaning.
• Yeast harvesting and yeast dumping.
• Carbonation of beer/use of Zahm
• CLEANING!!!—scrubbing outside of tanks, valves, piping; scrubbing floors, walls and drains.
• Complete all necessary forms including CIP log, MT tank report, and tank tags accurately.
• Follow company SOP’s
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Assist brewers with task such as dry hopping or grain milling if necessary.
• Assist in cleaning bright tanks.
• Assist in Cidery if necessary.
Requirements:
• 1 year experience in production brewery or beverage industry preferred.
• Physically be able to bend over, twist, kneel, climb stairs, and stand all day.
• Ability to lift 55+ pounds, work in a non-temperature controlled environment and repeatedly handle hot and cold liquids.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Safety oriented.
