    Description:
    Cellar Dude / Chick will work with and report to the Founder and Head Brewer to achieve our collective objective of making the best beer possible, in the safest, cleanest, most orderly, organized, and friendly manner as humanly possible!

    This position will constantly maintain, review, implement, create, and update best practices and Standard Operating Procedures. This position is directly responsible for, BUT not limited to the following:
    Managing all cellar operations
    a. CIP + SIP + Purging vessels
    b. Transferring finished product with strict attention to O2 pickup
    c. Maintaining and cleaning equipment
    d. Dry hopping, gravity monitoring, and temperature changes
    e. Inventory management and upkeep

    Packaging assistance
    a. Cleaning and filling kegs

    Operating heavy machinery
    a. Forklift operation
    b. Cold truck operation for occasional short trips around town
    c. Operation of any other equipment brought in as required

    Other
    a. Cellaring and cleaning
    b. Deliveries
    c. Account draught line maintenance
    d. Maintain Cold Box & Draft Line Maintenance
    e. Maintain a Clean and Orderly Brewhouse & Cellar
    f. Follow all Brewery and Cellar SOPs and Checklists
    g. Assist w/ Brew Day Prep & Brew Day Tasks
    h. Maintain Cellar & Fermentation Logs
    i. Maintain Brewery Records & Communication Logs
    j. Regular meetings with production and management team
    k. Assist team w/ Social Media presence
    l. Show up to work on time, in a great mood, and ready to save the universe through beer!


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Follow, adhere to, and constantly improve upon safety protocol
    • Follow a set of standards and checklists
    • 1 year minimum work experience on the production side of a packaging brewery
    • Able to lift 55 lbs. and work long hours on your feet
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including later nights and occasional weekend shifts
    • Must be proficient in brewery chemical usage, PPE, and hazardous material handling
    • Very punctual and highly organized
    • Strong attention to detail, including the strict adherence to all brewery standard operating procedures
    • A fundamental knowledge of safety procedures
    • Knowledgeable about brewing processes and have excellent sanitation practices
    • Must be 21 years or older
    • Must be able to pass a background check and be insured to drive company vehicles
    -Safe driving record for past 3 years
    • Must have a passion to learn and grow in the brewing industry
    • Formal education is a big plus

    Pay is competitive. Seeking position for 30-40 hours / week.
