Cellar Position at San Francisco Distillery+Brewery

We are a brewery and distillery focusing on creating craft beer inspired whiskeys. We are currently increasing production to meet demand throughout California and are looking for a qualified person to join our team. No experience is required to apply for the job however general brewing knowledge or warehouse management is. The candidate will receive training on our systems and procedures. If selected you will start at 24 hours per week, pay is DOE. Please reply with a resume.

Responsibilities:
Receive deliveries
Keep warehouse organized
Take direction from head brewer
Grist in
Transfer beer, wash, low wines and whiskey
Run CIP cycles
Keep tanks spotless
Clean kegs
Package beer
Packaging whiskey
Keep production floor clear and clean
Filtering & proofing spirits
Notify head brewer of any irregularities in equipment or fermentation cycles.
Keep records and notes as directed from head brewer


Skills Required:
Attention to detail
Extreme cleanliness
Homebrew or professional brewing experience
Follows directions well, can adhere to SOP's
Willingness to learn
Flexible schedule
Passion for brewing, and distilling
Familiarity with tools

Physical Requirements:
Lift 60 pounds repeatedly
Handle kegs ~ 160 pounds
Work 8 hours on your feet
Safely handle Chemicals
