    Great American Restaurants is hiring for a part-time cellars worker to join our award winning Sweetwater Tavern brewing team. We seek someone who is knowledgeable in beer & brewing with a great desire to work hard (in cold cellars conditions, often independently) to produce great beer. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible and looking to grow both personally and professionally. This is a cellars position (packaging, keg washing / delivery) with some brewing production tasks.

    The candidate will be able to smile and present a polished, professional manner while cleaning, sanitizing, and packaging repeatedly. Cellars work involves working both alone and with others. One must convey their enthusiasm for quality beer to both guests and staff members. Our brewers are excited about maintaining an outstanding looking brewery. Fanatical attention to detail and the ability to work consistently within standard guidelines is required. All applicants must be able to work an alternating schedule of various duties at our three different Northern Virginia Sweetwater locations. Reliable transportation for deliveries and work movement is a must. Experience in a production brewery or brewpub with many rotating beer styles is a highly desirable.

    Great American Restaurants operates three large brewery restaurants, a bakery and several other casual restaurants in Virginia and the suburbs of DC. This is an hourly-paid position roughly 20 hrs. / 3 days per week.
