    Do you often find yourself in this situation: Craft beer in hand, you are compelled to share your favorite beer story with a complete stranger? You feel a little quirky, maybe a little crazy, about your love for something so simple? Then you’re our type of beer lovin’ fanatic!

    At the 21A we’re looking for folks specializing in building and managing strong working relationships armed with not only our brand of beer culture and 2 fabulous rows of pearly whites (not required) but your insane ability to balance it all with grace.

    **Candidates with direct experience in the Portland, Oregon or surrounding market area is a plus! **




    A Day In The Life Of A 21st Amendment Area Sales Manager:


    We just want you to be you…Passionate about beer and sharing your passion with others! Our Area Sales Managers are responsible for managing and optimizing sales goal efforts for their assigned territory, are “hands on” (and like it).



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities “Include But Are Not Limited” To:

    Promotions: Represent the 21A at Festivals and Special Events. Manage On-Premise promos, demos, and tastings.

    Business Relations: Schedule market visits and surveys. Set and monitor sales goals for accounts. Network with businesses outside alcohol licensees to seek additional business opportunities. May be expected to go on road trips with distributers.

    Quality Control: Monitor code dates in the market and distributor warehouses. Ensure Brewery taps are in prime location. Beer tasting. Yes, tasting beer is part of quality control.

    Budgets: Position is responsible for regional sales, incentives, charity involvement, special events and chain budgets.

    Reports Analysis: It is a requirement to review monthly depletion reports to determine what distributors are succeeding and who needs help. Additionally, these reports help determine trouble spots and areas for improvement. Track and report on sales incentives. Knowledge of VIP/iDig is a plus.



    What You Need To Be Successful Here:


    This position will require that you have at least 1 year of proven sales experience in the industry, supervisory experience and distribution management experience. Excellent communications skills (i.e. presentation, interpersonal, written, etc.) are essential. A driver’s license and clean driver’s record is crucial. PC Literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will be needed to function.
