    Green Flash is looking for an organized Event Coordinator to support the Green Flash Marketing Events Team. The Events Coordinator will perform general department administrative duties pertaining to events that support our overall marketing initiatives. This is an 8 month temporary gig. We are located in San Diego, CA you must live within commuting distance.

    The Events Coordinator must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a variety of dynamic personalities. This position is located in San Diego, CA and reports to the Events Manager.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Data entry of regional Green Flash events on corporate website, social channels, regional media calendars and other partner calendars
    • Manage & redistribute incoming email inquiries to the info alias and respond where appropriate
    • Gather social assets for partnerships such as handles and photos
    • Manage all donation requests – manage order form, contact recipients, coordinate pick-up, maintain proper documentation
    • Oversee beer orders in Plex and coordinate delivery logistics
    • Coordinate Beer competitions – work with brewmaster on picking beers, coordinate delivery logistics and labeling with Ops team
    • Maintain event inventory; clean jockey-boxes
    • Pick-up, shipping, and event material distribution, such as posters, flyers
    • Assist in purchase and pick-up of event material
    • Oversee local event entries and attend local festivals as needed for Green Flash and Alpine
    • Assist with check requests/payments
    • Update Events calendar
    • Assist in tracking Brand Ambassador program
    • Support national event execution as needed
    • Create and distribute monthly Events email to staff and shareholders
    • Other Administrative duties as assigned (Mail, filing, etc.)

    Skills and Experience
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Must possess a valid California drivers’ license, and an excellent driving record
    • Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be comfortable working in an office setting
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
    • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related degree preferred
    • Understanding of the craft beer industry or experience working in the craft beer industry is not required but preferred
    • Ability to develop a genuine passion for our brand and products
    • Ability to travel 10%, and work nights and weekends as needed for industry-related events
