  • Glasswasher- underbar dishwashers

Hi All, looking for recommendations for a good glasswasher for our bar area. I have info on the Hobart ones, looking for other options that do a good job getting glasses beer clean. Anyone using something they like or hate?

Seriously? No one has a dishwasher????

Anyone have a glasswasher they like or dislike?

We have two carousel glass washers and they work flawlessly. We have them serviced regularly by EcoLab to keep them dialed in. I really can't say enough good things about them. The machines are fast, efficient, and glasses come out beer clean and cool. We also hand dry and polish each glass, which is more work but makes for a much nicer presentation of the beer. Belgian lace is no problem with glasses that come out of these machines.

      Cheers,

They're labeled Ecolab but they're manufactured by Moyer Diebel.

          They look like this:

This outfit makes an ok machine.
Tested in the field. Respected by dealers and technicians alike. We’re the leading commercial dish machine company of durable commercial dishwashing equipment.

Pretty straighforward and reliable if they are run intelligently.
I have been on property and taken care of Hobarts and a few others.
When you get into the bigger machines for Kitchen use I'd say pay the extra dollar for Hobart, but the glasswash machine we got from ADS is a decent unit.
I'd say its better than the unit that Ecolab has provided when we were leasing.

I would recommend renting a machine from say Autochor or Ecolab, both do a decent job. Buying a machine is nice, until it breaks down (it will) or needs new chems (which is does) or any of the other problems that can happen on a Friday night when you are 4 deep at the bar and the growler fill line goes to the door. Much nicer to have a contract for repairs and chems. My opinion working in restaurants and taprooms for 20yrs.

                Noble Glasswashers?

                Thanks Everyone.
Anyone have experience with the Noble brand? They seem to be similar design to ones above.

We use Autochlor. Machine is sized right for us and has made keeping up with demand on busy Fri/Sat nights much easier. They service the machine and any problems they are on-call to come out and fix. One less thing that I have to worry about fixing.

The glasses are spotless though they do come out hot. But we cycle enough that we can allow to cool before filling and we have a countertop rinser that cools/rinses right before the tap.
