    Dock Street Brewing Co. is seeking a consummate professional with a passion for craft beer, delicious food and the rousing combination they create.

    General Manager- Brewpub & Cannery Lounge

    This person will command the performance of the brewery and restaurant business in line with Dock Street’s plans and objectives, including financial performance, operations, guest satisfaction, event coordination and staff development. They will properly represent the ‘Dock Street’ brand and manage Dock Street growth and opportunities. Desired management skills include organizational, problem solving, leadership and follow through. This person can simultaneously demand respect and create a productive, gratifying work environment. We pride ourselves on rewarding talent and encouraging forward thinking.

    Responsibilities include:

    - Oversee all FOH and BOH within brewpub, restaurant and cannery lounge. Lead and direct all employees in kitchen, brewpub and lounge
    - Work with Office Manager / Bookkeeper on administration and operation such as employee file maintenance, payroll issues, etc.
    - Business Outreach
    - Count and reconcile nightly drops
    - Manage inventory and labor in accordance with company guidelines
    - Manage FOH employee schedule
    - Responsible for company's adherence to quality, health, safety and financial performance standards
    - Oversee equipment and pest maintenance
    - Oversee master cleaning schedule
    - Work with brewery, upper management, and Head Chef on operations and marketing special events and beer releases
    - Ensuring all employees live up to company standards of high quality, friendly service, respect, cleanliness
    - Coordinate with large, outside tour groups
    - Oversee tour guide and assist with tour guide training- Implement and carry out staff beer education

    Job Requirements:

    - Prior restaurant and management experience is a must. Two years minimum experience required
    - Experience with payroll, Quickbooks and Aloha or similar POS software
    - Knowledge of and appreciation for craft beer
    - College degree in business management, hospitality or culinary field preferred
    - Experience with budgeting and inventory management
    - Drivers License
    - Outstanding ability to lead, direct and develop staff
    - Knowledge of bar & restaurant industry trends, government regulations, health department codes
