Interested to see if anyone has had any experience with Hangzhou Zhengjiu Machinery. Does anyone have any experience with this Chinese manufacturers equipment? Anyone purchase directly from them? Picture of their style equipment attached. This is their 15bbl system, which I inquired them about. Looks like their direct fired kettles would require jet burners. Thanks!

Hi Catfish002, I purchased some 7bbl tanks from Hangzhou Zhengjiu Machinery back in 2015. I had a good experience with them and I have been very pleased with the quality of the tanks. You do not have to rely on their standard tank design, they will manufacture the tanks to your specifications. You are correct, on that direct fire kettle design, it will require a jet burner. For my 7bbl, I'm have a Ward 400K burner and it does the job. On any tank larger than 7bbl, I would not recommend a jet burner. I would go with a closed fire box design with a forced air burner. If you are on a tight budget, this kettle may be the right fit for you.
My salesman at Hangzhou Zhengjiu Machinery is no longer their, he has moved on to start his own brewery equipment manufacturing business. I purchased 2 additional 7bbl fermenters from him recently. Hope this helps, good luck. Do your homework, buying overseas is risky but there are some good companies out there.
